MWIMBAJI wa kutumainiwa wa bendi ya muziki wa dansi ya The African Stars ‘Twanga Pepeta’ Charles Gabriel ‘Chaz Baba’ ametangaza kujitoa katika bendi hiyo.

Akizungumza na waandishi wa habari jijini Dar es Salaam leo, msanii huyo alisema kujitoa kwake kumetokana na mambo mengi mojawapo ni kutokuwa na mkataba wa kazi.

Alisema tangu ajiunge na bendi hiyo mwaka 2005 hajawahi kupewa mkataba wowote wa kazi zaidi ya kulipwa mshahara tu kitu ambacho amekiona kama ni kinyume na utaratibu wa kazi.

Chaz aliongeza kuwa baada ya kujitoa ndani ya bendi hiyo kwa sasa atakuwa akisimamiwa na meneja wake aliyemtaja kwa jina la Benard Msekwa.

“Kwa sasa nitakuwa nasimamiwa na meneja wangu mpa (Msekwa) hivyo kila kitu kuhusiana na masuala yangu ya kisanii kitakuwa chini yake, kama ni onyesho ama kuhamia bendi nyingine yote ni juu yake,”Alisema.

Aidha, nyota huyo aliongeza kuwa baada ya kujitoa Twanga Pepeta huku akisubiri mambo mengine, ataelekeza nguvu zake katika kuandaa albamu yake binafsi itakayoundwa na nyimbo nane.

“Mpaka sasa nimeshakamilisha vibao kama sita hivi hivyo katika miezi ya karibuni nadhani itakamilika, nyimbo hizo ni pamoja na Nusu Chizi niliowashirikisha Mapacha Watatu, Blandina, Papa Fred, Mayasa na Ninaelekea wapi,”Alisema.

Naye meneja wa msanii huyo, Msekwa alisema kuwa wamekamisha taratibu zinazostahili juu ya kumng’oa Baba Twanga Pepeta ikiwemo kulipa mshahara wa mwezi mmoja.

Kuondoka kwa Charlz Baba kumethibitisha taarifa za kutaka kujiengua kwake, hivyo kufanya bendi hiyo kuendelea kuwa na pengo kutokana na wasanii kadhaa kuondoka katika siku za hivi karibuni.

City must buy again or else warns Mancini

Roberto Mancini fears Manchester City's title challenge could collapse this month if he is not allowed to buy to strengthen his squad.

Mancini will now be without Yaya and Kolo Toure for up to six weeks, with the brothers having been ordered to report on Saturday for African Cup of Nations duty with Ivory Coast.

That means the pair will miss Sunday's potentially epic FA Cup third round tie with local rivals Manchester United, for which Gareth Barry suspended.

Mancini is more concerned at the impact the Toures' enforced absence - in particular that of Yaya - could have on City's quest for the title, with his side currently holding a three-point lead over United.

The imminent introduction of UEFA's new Financial Fair Play rules means he will have to sell before he can buy, despite the club being bankrolled by Sheikh Mansour's billions.

The club hope to offload Carlos Tevez, Nedum Onuoha and Wayne Bridge in this month's window, but Mancini said he must be allowed to strengthen regardless to ensure he keeps City's title charge on track.

"I think in January - and I said this two months ago - we could have a big problem," he said Mancini. "We play four important games, big games, without Yaya.

"We could take in one player, but it depends. If we have strikers injured, then we will need to buy another.

"At the moment, I have only one striker because Edin Dzeko has a problem in his knee. So I have one striker and two midfielders.

"This month, we are losing two players in Yaya and Kolo. If we lose another, then we will need [to bring in] more players.

"Yaya is an important player for us. Kolo is different, because we have eight defenders and, if we are lucky and don't have injuries, I don't think we'll have a big problem there.

"But in midfield we have a big problem - for Sunday we have only two players there."

Mancini admitted he has been told by City's football administrator Brian Marwood, who is in overall charge of transfer policy, that he must sell to buy.

"I think it's better that we sell first," agreed Mancini. "Maybe then we can then take in other players.

"But this is the problem. If we don't have the players, then it's [going to be] tough for us.

"We are not Manchester United or Chelsea. They have won trophies for many years, but for us it's different.

"This could be our first championship for many years and we need to do everything we can to win it."

With Barry suspended, Mancini's only available central midfielders are James Milner and Nigel De Jong, as Owen Hargreaves is not fit to face his former club.

And with Dzeko and Mario Balotelli both injured and exiled striker Carlos Tevez still AWOL in his native Argentina, Mancini's only fit striker for Sunday is top scorer Sergio Aguero.

On the prospect of Tevez finding a new club, the City boss added: "I hope for him that he can close [a deal] with a team this week, because it's now three months since he played, and I think it's correct that he should begin to play."

Yes, according to TMZ, Elin Nordegren bought a $12 million home in North Palm Beach, Fla., but didn't like it, and has plowed the whole thing.

The house, which had six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, is now just rubble, with no word yet on what is going to replace the beautiful building you see above, but I guess when you have nine figures in the bank, it doesn't really matter what you want.

I guess we can all applaud Elin on not rolling over after all this happened and continuing on with her life. But I think we can all agree on one thing: Why in the world is she still in Florida? Wouldn't you want to move back home for good?

Women are a mystery to British physicist Hawking

LONDON (Reuters) - The biggest mystery in the universe perplexing one of the world's best known scientists is -- women.

When New Scientist magazine asked "Brief History of Time" author Stephen Hawking what he thinks about most, the Cambridge University professor renowned for unravelling some of the most complex questions in modern physics answered: "Women. They are a complete mystery."

The wheelchair-bound Hawking, who only recently retired from a post once held by Isaac Newton, talked to the magazine in the run-up to celebrations for his 70th birthday about his biggest scientific blunder and his hopes for modern science.

Hawking is due to celebrate his 70th birthday on Sunday with a public symposium entitled "The State of the Universe" at the University of Cambridge's Centre for Theoretical Cosmology.

Hawking heads a list of speakers including British Astronomer Royal Martin Rees, Nobel Prize-winning physicist Saul Perlmutter and Kip Thorne, one of the world's leading theoretical physicists.

Troubled champions Manchester United are considering a bid for Frank Lampard, according to a report.

The back-page story claims United boss Alex Ferguson is considering a move for the Chelsea and England midfielder after watching his Reds lose back to back games to Blackburn and Newcastle - and that Lampard would not be averse to a switch.

Previously a Chelsea 'untouchable', Lampard has found himself relegated to the subs' bench at Stamford Bridge this season under new manager Andre Villas-Boas.

Mancini 'can't fill bench' for Cup crunch

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini claims he can’t fill the subs’ bench against Manchester United – despite having a squad worth £333million.

Mancini was dealt a bitter blow on Thursday when Ivory Coast blocked his attempts to hang onto Kolo and Yaya Toure so they could play in the FA Cup third round showdown before flying off on African Cup of Nations duty.

The Italian - whose side thrashed United 6-1 at Old Trafford in the league just 11 weeks ago - now says he feels hard-up when he looks at his thin squad.

“For Sunday, we have 17 players and I don’t think we will have 18 to fill the bench," said Mancini, who reckons Africa's version of the European Championship could wreck City’s title hopes.

“Gareth Barry is suspended, Mario Balotelli injured his ankle in training the day before we played Sunderland and I don’t think he can play - he hasn’t trained for four or five days.

“Samir Nasri [who had flu] is better, but I don’t know about him. And we are losing Yaya and Kolo.”

But Mancini also vowed that City, as FA Cup holders, will not do anything to show disrespect to the competition.

He added: “The FA Cup is important for us because we won it last year and we want to go to the final again.

“But derbies are always difficult and at this moment maybe even more so because United will be very angry after two defeats.

“They are always very strong after a defeat, and for this reason it will be a very tough game.”

Sneijder almost certain he will stay

Wesley Sneijder is "90% certain" he will remain at Inter Milan during the current transfer window despite renewed speculation over alleged interest from Manchester United.

Sneijder, 27, was heavily linked with a move to United last summer but a transfer failed to materialise, following suggestions the Premier League champions were unwilling to match the Dutchman's wage demands.

But, in light of United's recent dip in form that has seen them lose back-to-back league matches, conjecture has been reignited that they could be back in for Sneijder, amid calls for Sir Alex Ferguson to strengthen his midfield.

However, Sneijder told Voetbal International: "If I must give a percentage for it, I think I am 90% certain I will stay [until at least the summer].

"I enjoy myself here at the moment and at this point I don't have anything to choose from. I don't say that I am 100% certain, because something unexpected can always happen.

Kuhusu hatima ya mwanaye, Mariam alisema kuwa mpaka sasa hajapata mtu aliyemtolea posa, hivyo akaweka wazi kwamba akitokea aliye sahihi, hatasita kumkubali.
“Hajatokea mume hasa wa kumuoa Wema na moyo wangu ukaridhia, wanaokuja ndiyo hao kama huyo Diamond,” alisema.

Amani limebaini kwamba Diamond hana tena nafasi kwa Wema, isipokuwa ‘dogo’ huyo aliyekulia Tandale, Dar, amekuwa akijipendekeza na kujitangaza kuwa bado wapo pamoja.

BREAKING NEWS!! Nick Cannon Is RUSHED To The Hospital With KIDNEY FAILURE!!!

MediaTakeOut just learned that Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon was RUSHED to the hospital in Aspen, CO yesterday with kidney failure. We're told that he is currently in stable condition.

What happened? Well it's NOT CLEAR. But we heard that Nick may have suffered a "kidney injury" while sparring with world class WELTERWEIGHT BOXER Amir Khan a few weeks back. It's not clear whether this ailment has anything to do with the injury he suffered.

Here is what Mariah had to say about the situation:

We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. Fergie admits it's advantage City now, but refuses to panic

Sir Alex Ferguson admits it is advantage Manchester City in the title race after his Manchester United side suffered their second straight defeat.

Champions United blew the chance to move level with City at the top of the Premier League and remain three points behind their neighbours.

"Of course it's advantage Man City," said the United manager. "They played on Tuesday and won their game while we have played tonight and have lost ours, so it's advantage to them.

"We don't normally experience that and the only plus for me was that we had two or three players back.

"We will have more back and that could make the difference."

Fergie insists United will not lose their heads, despite losing two successive league games for the first time since March and shipping six goals.

He remains confident that his champions will show their pedigree when it really matters in March and April after losing their first Premier League away game of the season.

"It's no time to panic," he said. "We have experience to cope with losing a game. When you lose a game at this time of the year, you don't want it, but it can happen. You see the results recently and they prove that.

"We have to get the show on the road for the run-in in March and April in particular."

Ferguson dropped keeper David De Gea after his poor showing in the defeat to Blackburn to bring in Anders Lindegaard and claimed the Dane was not at fault on stunning goals by Demba Ba and Yohan Cabaye.

"Any goalkeeper would have had no chance," he said. "They were fantastic strikes and you have got to give the players credit for that.

"We started reasonably well and had a good chance for Wayne Rooney when the ball ran away from his foot. But then they scored a fantastic goal and that picked everyone right up in the stadium.

"Newcastle became aggressive against us and made it difficult for us.

"The second goal was the killer and it was a marvellous strike from the free-kick. But we didn't make enough of our possession, it was one of those nights.

"They are very strong big aggressive lads and Phil Jones is only 19. but they didn't tear us apart.

"They were a handful and I think we can cope with that all right. But the story of the game is two fantastic strikes."

Manchester United's miserable turn of the annum continued into 2012 itself as Newcastle United emulated Blackburn Rovers on New Year's Eve by putting three goals past the champions to inflict a damaging defeat.

Despite the return of Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney, the Reds were second best at the Sports Direct Arena where the Magpies scored in each half with exquisite strikes from Demba Ba and Yohan Cabaye. The third and final nail wasn't quite in the same class - Phil Jones bundling an own goal past Anders Lindegaard, the keeper of a clean sheet in all of his previous league appearances.

Demba Ba was involved in two half-chances for Newcastle as the home side opened proceedings with a rapid tempo. First, the Senegal striker swung a boot at and missed Danny Simpson’s cross when any connection might have tested Lindegaard – shortly after, he laid the ball off for Yohan Cabaye to successfully let fly and find the gloves of the Reds’ diving Danish goalkeeper. Chiek Tiote, the Mohican-sporting Ivorian, also brought a straightforward save from Lindegaard with his early strike from distance.

At the opposite end, Tim Krul – a defiant obstacle in the sides’ 1-1 draw at Old Trafford six weeks ago – parried an effort from Nani and was perhaps lucky to gather the ball when the rebound proved too high to present Rooney with a shooting chance. Patrice Evra set up Nani for that first Reds attempt and he was again the supply line when Dimitar Berbatov’s header, via an unspotted deflection off Davide Santon, struck the base of Krul’s right-hand post.

Rooney’s first real chance to make positive headlines came with a direct free-kick, awarded against Cabaye for handball, but his setpiece was diverted wide by Tiote in the wall.

Giggs tried to give Rooney another sight of goal when he slid a delicious ball between two Newcastle defenders but the striker couldn’t strike it and Krul smothered the threat.

Ferdinand’s concession of a costly spot-kick in the previous meeting was controversial to say the least, so perhaps there was some karma when the defender’s penalty-box tangle with Demba Ba on 25 minutes brought a ‘play on’ gesture from referee Howard Webb – despite howls for the opposite decision from the partisan Tyneside crowd.

If replays suggested Ba was rightly aggrieved not to get a penalty, he meted out some justice of his own by breaking the deadlock in style. The approach at the Sports Direct Arena was certainly direct with Krul hoofing a long kick to the edge of the Reds’ area but the finish was accomplished as Ba hooked Ameobi’s flick-on over Ferdinand and Lindegaard and into the net.

It was the first league goal against Lindegaard in England, and the first against the Reds on the road domestically since the now infamous October draw at Anfield. But the rarity of the concession was of no interest or consolation to Sir Alex’s men with the live league table showing a three-point lead for Manchester City with the same number of games, 20, played.

With the excitable home fans baying for more, Ryan Taylor's free-kick just failed to meet their expectations, marginally clearing the crossbar after an angry Giggs was deemed to have brought down Demba Ba. The half ended with Lindegaard saving from Ba and then Rooney banging the turf in frustration at the other end after an apparent foul against him was ignored by Webb.

Sir Alex’s players may have been first onto the pitch for the second half but the hosts beat the Reds to it in terms of making an impact, with Demba Ba driving forward until Jones’ barge brought the game’s first booking as Webb awarded Newcastle another free-kick. This time, Cabaye took it and how, arrowing a Goal of the Season contender into the top left-hand corner with Lindegaard well beaten – just like any other keeper in the world might have been. It was the most delicious of deadballs from the Frenchman, reminiscent of Ronaldo or Beckham’s finest for the Reds. But this was no time to be misty-eyed of course; it was eyes down for the champions and minds firmly on a difficult job with two goals now to be clawed back.

Danny Welbeck, replacing Dimitar Berbatov, was sent on to assist, and assist he almost did when his flick from Nani’s cross was volleyed towards goal by Rooney, only for former Reds defender Simpson - celebrating his 25th birthday - to block brilliantly on the line. Welbeck instantly kept the attack alive but the ball he fizzed across the six-yard box couldn’t find Park and the Magpies escaped.

Park was substituted soon after, with Sir Alex bringing on Javier Hernandez – the last Red to score against Newcastle, in November. The manager's third change, to the delight of the home fans, was the withdrawal of Rooney with 15 minutes to go. Anderson came into the engine room for a reshuffle with Giggs, one of the champions' better attacking players, going 'home' to his familiar left flank.

The midfield scrap, yielding yellow cards for Valencia's aerial challenge on Gutierrez and Tiote's mistimed tackle on Carrick, seemed to suit Newcastle more as they battled to preserve the two-goal cushion held since just after half-time. Certainly the likes of Tiote and Perch worked hard to screen Fabricio Coloccini and Mike Williamson but even when the Reds did manage to attack the Newcastle centre-backs, they were equal to the task.

The Reds' rearguard, by contrast, had endured a difficult night - never more so than when Jones, trying to prevent another long kick from Krul reaching Newcastle sub Leon Best, thighed the bouncing ball past Lindegaard for an awful own goal. Three-nil down, the final whistle couldn't come quick enough for Sir Alex's men - even if Manchester City, clear league leaders again, lie in wait at the weekend in the FA Cup third round.

Manchester United fans have voted emphatically in favour of adding Wesley Sneijder to the club's ranks in January.

GiveMeFootball surveyed over 20,000 Red Devils fans on facebook, and found that a staggering 84% (16,869) wanted the Dutch international to be the player moving to Old Trafford in 2012.

Speculation has been rife over the future of the Inter Milan playmaker after a summer of constant speculation, and reports have recently emerged that the Serie 'A' outfit could be willing to sell the player this month.

Sir Alex Ferguson has tried to play down Manchester United's possible movements, claiming he's happy with the squad and sees no need to make additions. The fans appear to disagree though, and quite clearly want Sneijder in their ranks.

As for other targets, Ajax starlet Cristian Eriksen came second in the survey, tabling 8% (1,727) of the public vote. The Danish international playmaker is tipped to have a huge future in the game, but has also been linked with Barcelona and Inter Milan.

Nicolas Gaitan and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar appear well out of the picture in the minds of supporters at least, with the Benfica and Schalke stars both collecting just 2% of the votes each (Gaitan slightly ahead of the Dutch striker).

Real Madrid defender Jordi Alba faired even worse, collecting just 168 of the total votes cast by United fans, which equated to less than 1% wanting the Spanish international at Old Trafford.

A host of other players have been linked with a move to the club, including Isaac Cuenca and Rasmus Elm, and 'other' came third in the list of possible targets, claiming 660 votes (3%).

Confirmed: Eric Wright aka Lil Eazy E is Alive and Well

After a fatal car crash in Texas, rumors floated around twittersphere that said Lil Eazy E had died in the crash. However, he recently confirmed that he’s alive and well in a phone call to his friend.

According to reports, Lil Eazy E whose real name is Eric Wright Jr. called his friend and journalist Jasmyne Cannick and left a message that he’s alive and well, though not too well. The Associated Press reported that Texas Dept. of Public Safety Trooper Ryan Case said Saturday that the star’s name was found on a rental agreement for one of the cars in the crash that took place in East Texas on Friday. That’s why he was mistakenly listed as being killed in the crash, making it look like it wasn’t a rumor originating out of the blue.

Lil Eazy E posted on twitter that the accident took lives of his close friends and cousin that include Debra Thompson, Curtis Sandes, Michael Mathis and Lawrence Bridnac III. The car that collided with the rental one had 29-year-old Sonia de la Torre and her three young children who were also killed in the collision.

According to the contract, Rose will be endorsing Adidas attire for the next 10 years. He has already crossed his rival LeBrone James in sales and closing in on Kobe Bryant soon.

While the fact that he might be getting paid 250 mil is crazy news, — Rose’s camp is set to negotiate a ‘lifetime’ deal with the brand, the dollar amounts are just being rumored at the moment.

However, the reality is that Rose will command top dollar as an impending sneaker free agent and adidas will almost certainly pay what it takes to ensure that they don’t lose their footing in the basketball footwear landscape.


They sources say with Rose, they have a legitimate marketable superstar in a major basketball city with a footwear and apparel line that grows in popularity each year.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish offered a robust defence of the club's stance throughout the controversial Luis Suarez affair, despite the widespread criticism of their handling of the situation.

The Reds boss argued that his player, who began his eight-match ban for racially abusing Manchester United's Patrice Evra by sitting out Tuesday's loss to Manchester City, has been punished so severely by the FA because they were looking to make an example over any issues of racism.

"(Luis was) Wrong place, wrong time, it could have been anybody," he said. "There are a lot of things we'd like to say; a lot of things we could say, but we don't want to get ourselves in trouble.

"We know what is going on, we know what is not in the report and that is important for us.

"It really is very dangerous that you don't know the full extent of the hearing, and what was said. It is up to the club to decide what we want to do about that.

"If one of your guys was in trouble and you knew it was the truth he was saying, would you support him?

"The players are showing their support for their team mate what is wrong with that? I think it is a fabulous statement (t-shirts) to make for a guy they give their support to in the dressing room and one of their closest friends in the dressing room.

"We are not digging a bigger hole for ourselves, it is unfortunate that we can not say any more. We have made a statement, and we can say no more."

Sir Alex Ferguson believes the new transfer window - now open - is likely to be quiet for the top clubs in the Barclays Premier League. After stressing he feels no need to add to his own squad, the United boss does not think the Reds' rivals will be splashing the cash either. "The reason there may not be many big signings in January is because the players clubs want are not available," Sir Alex explained. "To be honest with you, who would want to sell their best player in January? "I don't see it happening. There are cases of players whose contracts are running out in the summer but they won't get the same money anyway. It'll be well reduced." As for outgoing moves, the boss is unlikely to make a decision on the prospect of Federico Macheda and Mame Biram Diouf leaving on loan until nearer to the close of the window. "We don't need to do anything until the end of January," revealed Sir Alex. "We can take our time with that one. We've got, say, three weeks before we can make up our mind on that issue. "I'd like to get one or two on loan, particularly the young strikers but, at the moment, we don't need to do anything and don't need to make a decision."

Macheda joins QPR on loan

Federico Macheda has joined Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old Italian striker, who has made just six first-team appearances for United this term, will hope to become a regular under R's manager Neil Warnock as the West London club strive to stay in the Barclays Premier League.

Macheda will wear the no.33 shirt at Loftus Road and told QPR's official website that he's determined to make his mark at the club.

"I was attracted by the challenge and by the players that QPR brought in during the summer," Macheda said.

“There are some very big players at the club now and I am really looking forward to training and playing with them. I also know the fans are very, very passionate, and this interested me also.”

Rangers boss Warnock was delighted to secure Macheda's services but stressed his belief that Macheda's long-term future lies with Manchester United.

"This is a great opportunity for both parties. Federico is not getting a regular game at United quite obviously because of the quality of the squad they’ve got," Warnock said.

“Everybody in the league is in envy of what Sir Alex has there, but what he is trying to do is get Federico some game time in the Premier League. I am sure he is still a part of their future plans.

“I believe this can really work for us because he is positive and always in and around the box. He can finish too.

“He puts defenders under pressure, he’s a strong lad and he’s got a yard of pace as well. If we can get him the ball in the right areas I am sure he can get us a few goals. It’s a great way for us to start the January transfer window."
