Troubled champions Manchester United are considering a bid for Frank Lampard, according to a report.The back-page story claims United boss Alex Ferguson is considering a move for the Chelsea and England midfielder after watching his Reds lose back to back games to Blackburn and Newcastle - and that Lampard would not be averse to a switch.
Previously a Chelsea 'untouchable', Lampard has found himself relegated to the subs' bench at Stamford Bridge this season under new manager Andre Villas-Boas.
