Juve clinch Scudetto, Milan beaten

Juventus clinched their first Scudetto title since 2003 with a 2-0 win over Cagliari, as Inter Milan beat rivals AC Milan 4-2 in a fiery derby contest.

Juve, still unbeaten in Serie A this season, went ahead through Mirko Vucinic and then saw their lead doubled in the second half with a looping effort from Marco Borriello.

Needing to win to keep their hopes of retaining their title, AC Milan were hammered 4-2 by Inter in a game that saw three penalties given.

Inter took the lead through Diego Milito, before Julio Cesar's foul on Kevin Prince-Boateng was deemed to be a penalty. Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted with ease and put Milan into the lead with a neat finish a minute after half-time.

However, two penalties from Milito swung the tide back in Inter's favour and Maicon smashed a fourth late on to send the title to Turin as the results left the Old Lady four points ahead of the Rossoneri with one game of the season to go.

Udinese moved into pole position for Serie A's third berth in the Champions League next season thanks to a 2-0 win over relegation-threatened Genoa, who ended the game with nine men and needing a point from their final game of the season.

Juraj Kucka was sent off first in the 29th minute when he gave away a free-kick, from which Antoni Di Natale put Udinese in front. Rodrigo Palacio followed him for an early bath in the 38th minute and the home team controlled the rest of the game, adding a second through Antonio Floro Flores in the 66th minute.

Lazio kept their Champions League hopes alive with a 2-0 victory at Atalanta.

Libor Kozak fired home a first-half opener and Lorik Cana made the points safe in the 90th minute after the hosts had had Guglielmo Stendardo sent off for dissent.

The win leaves fourth-placed Lazio two points behind Udinese in third with one game left.

Napoli fell three points behind Udinese as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Bologna.

Alessandro Diamanti opened the scoring in a first half otherwise dominated by the visitors, and Matteo Rubin made the game safe in the second half. The match ended with red cards for Bologna's Archimede Morleo and Napoli's Blerim Dzemaili.

Palermo and Chievo played out an entertaining 4-4 draw that saw Matias Silvestre rescue a last-gasp point for the home side.

With both free of relegation worries and with just a game remaining, there was never likely to be much at stake at the Stadio Renzo Barbera and so it proved as the two sides laid on a free-flowing exhibition.

Palermo took the lead through Fabrizio Miccoli's tenth-minute penalty, before the same player doubled their advantage nine minutes later. Sergio Pellissier pulled one back on 27 minutes and Fernando Uribe levelled by striking within 60 seconds, before Sequeira Luciano and Pellissier made it four.

However, Palermo would not be denied and mounted a spirited fightback of their own, with Miccoli - with his hat-trick goal - and then Silvestre finding the target.

Parma maintain an outside chance of playing in Europe next season after beating Siena 2-0 away from home to move level on points with Roma in eighth place.

A technically outstanding goal from Sebastian Giovinco midway through the second half turned a lifeless game in Parma's favour before Sergio Floccari sealed the win in stoppage time.

Roberto Donadoni's side now need to hope that either Inter Milan or Lazio lose their last two fixtures to give them any chance of playing in Europe next season. They would then have to beat Bologna next weekend and hope Roma fail to match their result to book a place in the Europa League.

Marco Rigoni scored a hat-trick as Novara marked their last home game in Serie A for a season at least with a 3-0 win over fellow relegated side Cesena.

Rigoni scored two penalties, one in each half, before completing his treble in the 86th minute.
