Kanye West escorts Kim Kardashian around Paris... in $380,000 Lamborghini she bought for his birthday

There are few celebrity couples who can boast more bling than Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

And the pair certainly have no qualms about playing up to their image- as they are proving on their trip to Paris.

Kanye appeared to take great pleasure driving his lady around the city today- and no wonder, since they were riding in the brand new $380,000 Lamborghini she bought for his 35th birthday.

The couple looked as though they were loving each others' company- and Kanye held his hand to his mouth to stifle a laugh as Kim giggled by his side.

Kim looked as stunning as ever in a fitted strapless green dress, which she teamed with short stiletto-heeled boots.

She wore her hair pulled back into a slick high pony tail, and as usual kept the focus of her make-up on her eyes, with smokey shadow and liner.

The reality star appears to be embracing Paris with open arms- though she has hesitated before enjoying one or two local attractions.

She tweeted a picture of a plate of snails with garlic butter, writing 'To eat or not to eat'?

For Kim- who recently admitted that she is an especially fussy eater, and has all her food delivered in freezer bags- the delicacy must have presented quite the challenge.

The couple are making every effort to make a pubic show of solidarity, and a source told the Daily Star last week: 'Kanye's trying really hard to get Kim's family on side.'

'Kim's mum asked her to keep all her relationships out of the public eye following her disastrous 72-day wedding farce with estranged husband Kris Humphries.'

'She was disappointed her daughter went public with new boyfriend Kanye. Kayne's agreed to appear in upcoming episodes of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' on E! and is laying it on thick to make her mum like him.'

Kim meanwhile is clearly smitten, and has said that hearing Kanye's music on the radio is one of the highlights of her day.

She recently accompanied the rapper to Europe for his Watch The Throne world tour with Jay-Z to show her support for his career- a notable change from the rather one-sided nature of her relationship with Kris.

After showing her ill-fated wedding to Kris on her TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the star says she now hopes to keep her relationship with West more private.
