Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan looked like strangers in their wedding photos... now our expert analyses the body language of the 'eternal teen

Billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg married his girlfriend of nine years in a surprise ceremony held at their California home this weekend.

For a man who has made billions from encouraging the world to share, it was a very private event. The ceremony was so secret that even the guests did not know they would be attending a wedding.

They turned up at Zuckerberg’s £4.5million home in Palo Alto, California, thinking they were there to celebrate Priscilla Chan’s graduation from her degree in paediatrics.

Clearly this is a couple who do not relish attention. Indeed, the body language in the two photographs released from the occasion show the two looking distinctly awkward.

The man more at home in a hooded top and trainers was dressed in a dark suit and tie for the occasion, and posed for two wedding pictures in the garden of his home.

Not for them the easy intimacy expected of a bride and groom on their wedding day. In fact, some remarked how the two looked almost like strangers.
