BREAKING NEWS: Former Liberia President Charles Taylor given 50-year sentence by the Hague

Judges in the Hague sentenced former Liberian President Charles Taylor to 50 years in prison on Wednesday.

Taylor, 64, was last month convicted of supporting Revolutionary United Front rebels during Sierra Leone's 11-year civil war, which ended in 2002.
