He's alive... and sweaty! Usher refutes death hoax rumours by tweeting shirtless photo

Reports suggested that he had met his untimely death today, but Usher Raymond is very much alive and well.

The 33-year-old R&B singer tweeted a sweaty, shirtless photograph of himself today after internet hoax rumours surfaced that he had died in a car crash.

He wrote on his Twitter page: 'I must've died and went to heaven...Alive and cold kickin a**!!'

Usher added: 'Never scared, never dead...Just #Lookin 4 myself. Livin legend!'

Bogus website The Global Associated News gave a detailed account of his Usher's 'death' today.

Written on the site was: 'Usher died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell.

'He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body.

'Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident on April 10, 2012.

'Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Usher lost control while driving a friend’s vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly.'

However, he is clearly alive, as the numerous photos of himself looking mean and posing half naked should prove.

Usher, who headed to the happiest place on Earth, Disneyland, over the weekend, also has a few tricks up his sleeve which should also keep his fans happy.

His protege, Justin Bieber, tweeted the news today that the two would team up for a series of duets that would appear on both of their respective yet-to-be-released albums.

The 18-year-old wrote yesterday: 'Now headed to a COVER SHOOT with big bro @UsherRaymondIV - we got duets on both of our albums coming.'

His mentor also tweeted yesterday: ''Oh...and trust we got a duet coming for 'LOOKING 4 MYSELF' and 'BELIEVE. he has come a long way.

'Proud to see his evolution as an artist.'

Usher's seventh studio album, Looking for Myself, will be released June 12.
Bieber's third album, Believe, is due out later this year.
