Ringing in the games! Huge Olympic logo floats down the Thames to mark 150 days to go

The only rings we normally see floating on water are made of rubber and designed to help novice swimmers splash around.

But the five circles gliding down the River Thames today are far more majestic than that.

A barge carrying a magnificent set of giant Olympic rings was launched on the London river to mark 150 days until the start of the Games.
