The 27-year-old last week told reporters in Italy that he was "very happy" at Inter, adding that he didn't see why he should leave the club.
But with reports that the Premier League champions are preparing a £35m bid for the Netherlands international, Sneijder has again given comments suggesting that he is open to a move.
"I love Inter with all my heart," he was quoted by Tuttomercatoweb as saying. "But God will decide where my future will be. Only he knows it.
"I want to thank the fans as they have always been great with me, and I want to assure them that if I stay at Inter then I will do everything to win more."
The People on Sunday reported that United are lining up the new bid amid growing speculation that the Red Devils are on the brink of a fresh takeover attempt from Qatar.
