Jordan Henderson completes Liverpool FC move in £20million deal

The 20-year-old England international had travelled to Liverpool on Wednesday after a
fee believed to be in the region of £20million was agreed with the Black Cats.

Henderson has now joined the England Under-21 squad in Denmark ahead of the
European Championships after completing his move on Thursday afternoon.

Neither club has confirmed the actual fee, while Liverpool did not provide any details of
the youngster's contract, but described it as "a long-term deal."

The deal could still see Liverpool striker David N'Gog move to Wearside, although that
was unconfirmed at time of writing.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is set to use the cash to try and sign Manchester United trio
Wes Brown, John O'Shea and Darron Gibson, while United striker Danny Welbeck,
who spent last season on loan at the Stadium of Light, is also wanted by the Black Cats boss.
